About Our Team

Our team is made up of sudents in grades 7-11 in the Upper St, Clair School District. Two former teams came together to create this special robotics team. The first was an all-girls FLL(First Lego League) team called the Wonder Women. The second was a male FTC(First Tech Challenge) team named the Steel Serpents. Portions of these teams came together to create Bot of Gold, choosing the name because of the Golden Rule and the Golden Standard. This team is continuing their second year in FTC and was rewarded with the Connect Award in their rookie year of competition for reaching out and teaching their community about robotics and overall displaying amazing sportsmanship and gracious professionalism. The Bot of Gold team looks forward to another great year of competition and robotic fun.lither
